Another Outstanding Experience with Aviv Movers! This is my third time using Aviv Movers over the past 15+ years, and once again, they completely exceeded my expectations. Today, Jose and two other men, moved me from my home on the North Shore to South Boston, into a third-floor condo. Not an easy move by any means. But Jose and his team handled everything with incredible care, strength, and professionalism. They worked nonstop, disassembled and reassembled two queen beds, and maneuvered my narrow stairs and tight corners with skill. Even though they were clearly exhausted, they never once complained or slowed down. What also stood out was that Jose actually moved me from Boston to the North Shore 10 years ago, and he remembered me! That kind of personal connection and consistency speaks volumes about the people at Aviv. Oh, and the way they navigate/park a large moving truck on the narrow streets of Boston always impress me. If you're looking for a moving company you can trust, one that’s not only efficient but also kind, respectful, and dedicated, I can’t recommend Aviv Movers highly enough. They’ve been my go-to for over 15 years, and I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Fantastic move experience with Rony and team! They stormed the house early in the morning, packed with both speed and delicate attention, loaded and unloaded, took furniture apart and reassembled them, and all with the best attitude and with extreme expertise. You guys were the best.

Update to business reply: We wish to remain anonymous. We did reach out to management at Aviv Movers and our concerns were very poorly addressed and we were directed to make a claim through insurance which would maybe have provided 1% of the damage incurred. We have previously moved with Aviv, but they have less seasoned movers in their employ and while admitting they are less professional still feel it okay to impose them upon clients. I cannot express how unhappy I was with this move and how much damage was caused to our possessions. The amount of grief and distress caused was indescribable and I truly do not wish a move like this upon anyone. Worst moving experience. The team was disgracefully bad. They packed everything half-heartedly and rushed through everything. I had a very bad feeling during the packing up of the apartment. Unfortunately, my worst fears came true when almost every item was damaged in the move. I urge you to do your homework before choosing this company. Not everyone reports bad experiences, but take the time to read through the lowest reviews well before moving forward with them.

I HIGHLY recommend using Aviv movers! I moved out of a 1st floor Somerville apartment to a 4th floor walk up apartment in the North End Boston. The entire move took 4 hours start to finish. The 3 movers were so hardworking, careful with my belongings, knowledgeable on how to maneuver the tight staircase, and best of all very nice to be around all morning. They took apart and then reassembled my IKEA bed so quickly. They wrapped my dresser in moving blankets to ensure it didn't scratch. I had all my items packed so I didn't utilize their packing services but I can assume they would be great at that too. The final time / price was right in line with the original quote I received. Very reasonable price for the service provided. I will be using them for any future moves and recommending them to my friends and family. Aviv made the entire move a stress-free process. I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Avivi Moving and Storage during my international move. This was, by far, the most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have ever had with a moving company. I decided to use your services because of the attractive deal offered during the quoting process, as well as the guarantees and delivery promises presented by your salesperson, Ana Ilic. I shipped my belongings from Rhode Island to Switzerland on July 25, 2024, and was initially impressed with how smoothly things seemed to be progressing. Timeline of Events: August 14, 2024: I was informed that my shipment had a confirmed shipping date of August 24, 2024, with an estimated arrival in the Netherlands around September 22, 2024. At this point, I felt confident that I had made the right choice. September 13, 2024: Agustina Dominguez contacted me for final documentation and confirmed the September 22nd arrival date. I was thrilled to see everything progressing on schedule. October 11, 2024: After weeks of silence, I received the following message from Jeanine: "Hi Dariana, I'm sorry for the mix-up; your shipment was loaded into our other container, which has an ETA of 11/9. Once confirmed as arrived, Agustina will be in touch. Thank you, Jeanine" This abrupt and vague email marked the beginning of my frustrations. From this point onward, the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service I experienced was unacceptable. Agustina disappeared entirely, ignoring my messages. When I finally insisted on speaking to a manager, Talia Aviani contacted me and explained that there had been a mistake in the warehouse during a move, which impacted my shipment. While I understand that mistakes can happen, there was no proactive action taken on my behalf to address the situation. Impact on Me: Missed Deadlines: I had trusted your timeline because my wedding suit was part of this shipment. I was forced to purchase a new one at an additional expense. Seasonal Clothing: Most of my winter clothes were in the shipment, leaving me unprepared for the season. Emotional Stress: This situation caused me significant emotional distress and economic hardship. Valeria eventually took over the process and had to bear the brunt of my frustration, but even then, Jeanine’s lack of accountability persisted. She consistently avoided addressing my concerns, failing to respond to messages or take any initiative to rectify the situation. My Shipment: My shipment finally arrived at my home on January 4, 2025 My Concerns: This experience has highlighted a concerning lack of visibility and oversight within your company. The fact that no one noticed the mistake until October, despite the planned September arrival, is alarming. It reflects poorly on your logistics processes and internal controls. Final Remarks: I strongly urge Avivi Moving and Storage to evaluate the handling of this case and take appropriate action to prevent such incidents in the future. Jeanine, in particular, demonstrated an alarming lack of professionalism and accountability, and I do not believe she should be in a customer-facing role. I hope my experience serves as a warning for others considering your services. I cannot recommend your company after such a disappointing ordeal.

I've use Aviv Moving twice now. I rarely see this quality of work ethic anymore. They show up on time, are pleasant, do the job, and then are off to the next job. No haggling for extra time or fees. No arguments about how to move something or "if it will fit." They just do their job and don't add to the already stressful process of moving. Great Company, Great Crew.

Best laid plans off the rails.... so I'd planned to have all smaller sized items gone and outta the way before movers arrived. Nope, it didn't happen. Aviv Movers were accommodating from the start. That was huge especially since I was moving on the biggest college move weekend in the country! Begun able to be flexible was key. I was. Movers contacted prior to arrival, assessed the job then got to it efficiently getting the job done. The supervisor who ran the job was never still often working the hardest. Even boxes I had taped he knew what needed reinforcing. Only comment: find out what extra on site charges there might be at the end such as tape etc. Of course if you're not told ahead it becomes negotiable but good business is good business right?! Overall good experience. Would I use again? Yes
