I had a disappointing experience at Yonkers Discount Tire. When I tried to get a quote, the owner was rude and had an attitude and seemed annoyed customers wanted to business there. The shop was messy, dirty, and very unorganized. I should have trusted the recent negative Google reviews—unfortunately, they were accurate.
Solid and trustworthy based on my experience. Charged less than half the cost for a wheel alignment compared to Bronxville. Also fixed a problem with my car super fast.
I had a very bad leak from my rear axle that did alot of damage a few months back. They worked hard to get me back on the road in time and at less cost than a dealership. The vehicle feels brand new when it left the shop and ,after driving around the last few months, it still feels new.
This shop is great. I've come here several times for my last car and now my current one. The staff is friendly and remembers you. The guy at the front desk, Joe, always takes the time to explain what's wrong with the car, why it happened, what they want to do, and he always makes an effort to find the most affordable option for you. If you're looking for a local shop with good prices, good service, and almost always available to see you, this is your place!
Called on Saturday midday, arrived at 12:45 PM for a tire replacement - out of there by 2 PM job done and done well for the best price around - the next closest tire price I got in the are was 60 bucks higher! Good service, great price, and amazing turnaround time. All professional and quick.
