Would love to know how much Capstone is putting in the pockets of individual Chatham Kent council members and government officials to push back the date of the unwilling host vote from Oct 20th, to Nov 3rd. Why have you gone to the government for help after we voted NO? No means no, you’re done, accept it. The lack of information from your speaker at the council meeting Monday was not only concerning, confusing and frustrating, but showed you as a company have no care for the people of Chatham Kent. But we already knew that. Your reps at the community information meetings clearly showed that. We don’t want your wind turbines. The pile driving breaks up the black shale and it gets in our water wells. Your rep completely failed to answer questions on what would happen when wells are contaminated and water comes out black. No community should have to fight to keep clean drinking water. Whatever shady closed door conversation you’re having is just another greenbelt scandal.
