people and staff are nice but just make sure you read everything about the company and their pricing. I got charge for some guy to come out and look at my freezer and tell me, "yes it works its on a cycle" $182.00. Called again for another refrigerator and the guy did something to make the temperature almost freeing ruining all my produce. I will not call them back to come look and fix the mistake they did because I know I am going to get charged a kidney. Already called my 4 other restaurants and other friends in the industry to not even waste their time with this company. Overall nice people but the situations I was in just made me feel bad for other owners that have to go through this process.

We have been in business with Specialized for many years. They have offered us exceptional service and truly care about the urgency of our refrigeration needs. What stands out to me most, is that this company has adopted a philosophy that resonates well with a long standing partnership. Specialized is not simply "chasing business". They truly want to keep their current customers serviced and if and when they take on new customers, they not only hire appropriately but they also ensure the customer does not suffer during the training period. 5 stars!

I called these guys in late May to come out and do some work on 5 specialized ice cream machines. They told me they were slammed, which is understandable given the increasing temperature of the weather, but would be able to see me in 2 weeks time. As a business owner, 2 weeks is a lot of time to wait with failing or tired freezers, but I accepted, so we scheduled an appointment and confirmed the address. 2 weeks later, no service technician showed up and I called their office after waiting an hour. They told me they "wouldn't have been willing to take new clients and nobody remembers scheduling me." Additionally, the owner told me they, "just couldn't be everywhere at once." It all felt like I got bit timed due to a staffing issue. Lies are unacceptable and bad business. They didn't offer to reschedule, nor did they offer an olive branch of any sort. This interaction will hinder the success of my ice cream business this Summer and I am extremely disappointed in not only the outcome, but also the way they handled the alleged miscommunication.

Specialized knows how to keep their customers around. We have been loyal customers for years. JUSTIN is our go-to guy. He makes himself extremely available for us whenever we have any issues. He's genuine, honest and trustworthy which isn't something you come by too often nowadays. He has saved the day countless times, I can't recommend him enough! Stop wasting your time and money on anyone else and call JUSTIN at specialized. He will take care of you.

We have used Specialized refrigeration for over 15 years at Costco 25 here in Reno Nevada for both our refrigeration needs as well as all of our HVAC service. They are always quick to respond and provide great service. They also give us lot's of advice on how to prevent future issues which saves costs and also handle all of our preventive maintenance.
