AV Heating and Cooling LLC

My AC went out on Tuesday 7/15. Jim came out that night checked out my unit and confirmed that it was shot. It was from 1992! When we went downstairs to see what we were working with there, I discovered that my furnace (1989) was recalled. So that needed to be replaced as well. It was probably emitting carbon dioxide into our home without us even knowing. It had a non working dehumidifier on it as well. Loaded with more mold I could imagine. Jim walked me through the process and was able to get me financed with Spire gas!! Today(7/17), Jim and another guy spent the day getting our new systems up and running!! He made this process so easy!! I was stressing because of the heat, but he fixed that!! I look forward to working with this company in the future as well!! And they are veteran friendly which is a huge plus in my book!! Local owned and operated and selling American made products!!

In a desperate panic, I was calling every air conditioning service phone number I could find before my son's first birthday party. My house was 15 degrees hotter than the thermostat was set to in late June 90° heat. No amount of troubleshooting I did fixed my system. AV Heating and Cooling returned my call LONG after I expected anyone to still be conducting business on a Friday night, and still took the time to listen to the problem while I described my futile attempts at repair. He gave me some advice and insight on how the system worked, and I ended up being able to fix it myself with a few quick tricks he suggested. I can't describe the relief it gave me to get my system back in working order without the cost of a technician coming to troubleshoot and/or throwing money at new parts. Should my system need anything in the future, these guys are my first and only call. Thank you!

My thermostat went out during at heatwave at 8:30pm. My landlords maintenance team wouldn’t come fix anything unless it was 90°, currently 88°. I googled the closest place to me and AV popped up. I’m so thankful I called. Jim is an absolute SAINT. I couldn’t have contacted a better company to get my thermostat working. I will exclusively call them for any HVAC needs in the future. I had a great experience with technician Jim Workman. He was very professional when he arrived to my house. He introduced himself and handed me his business card right away. He communicated very clearly on the issues with my A/C unit and he solved the issue quickly. Thanks to him I don’t have to sit in a warm house. Thanks again Jim!

They have been great to work with. They've been quick to respond when the AC's gone out and it was 100, or the heater when it was 0. Just recently had them come out to look at the AC unit before the summer starts. They were very upfront with me, no pressure. Gave me options to fix it, or replace it. Even had parts with them for my 30 yr old unit. I ended up choosing to replace it and they were awesome. I could really leave the keys to my house with them, and they did everything while I was at work, no problem. Great people, very good at what they do.

As a reviewer, I value my opinions about every business that deals business with me. I look for many things that matter most and usually they are the small things. A/V Heating and cooling went above and beyond my expectations of this service. I had to have a whole new unit replaced, the estimate was more than fair and the timing was fast and incredible. This company works as a team and they very good at it. If you ever need anything done to your furnace or you need to purchase a new one, call these guys they will absolutely take great care of you!!
