Midwest Heating Cooling & Plumbing

I've had a great experience working with Midwest Heating and Cooling. While they may not be the cheapest option out there, their excellent customer service and professional approach make them a worthwhile investment. They are truly good people with a solid business plan. I want to give a special shout-out to Tom, my original salesman, who was fantastic to work with. Additionally, Rich and Drew, who recently handled a maintenance project for me, were both professional and timely, which I really appreciate. I would absolutely recommend Midwest Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of their services.

My central AC went out in my home, I called Midwest because they are local and very friendly staff. They initially came out to service my unit and gave me a couple of options. I could fix my current unit or for a little more I could upgrade with a warranty. I decided to upgrade my unit. Midwest was in and out and replaced my unit all within 3 weeks from the first phone call. I would welcome them in my home anytime.

I originally gave a 1 Star review when Midwest Heating and Cooling installed my heat pump because they shorted out my entire house from laying duct work on a junction box and I got horrible customer service. Forward 6 years and I thought maybe it was just a one time deal so I called them because my heat pump wasn’t working..again. The tech came out, spent 15 minutes (for $100) and told me to call an electrician because there was a possible short in my thermostat wire. My electrician came out, asked me who installed the heat pump and said they didn’t know what they were doing when installed and that it was actually a faulty component on the heat pump. I’m not making that mistake again and officially done with Midwest HVAC. Word of advice, find another HVAC company. Still the same bad service

Midwest did an absolutely amazing job on our new HVAC system! James came to our house, took detailed measurements, gave suggestions, and talked to us thoroughly about our options within our budget. I also loved that the company uses Lennox products. Lennox has consistently been one of the top 4 HVAC product company from Consumer Reports. He mentioned all rebates about the system install and gave us time to review everything to ensure we wanted before we scheduled the install. The guys did a thorough job of removing and installing the new system with all new piping - gas lines and water lines to meet code, covered our new piping, and made everything secure. The guys that came and installed the system were nice, efficient, answered any questions I had and did not rush the job. They even took the time to fill in some loose spots in my HVAC duct work in the basement to ensure minimal leaks were occurring. I have included some before and after pictures and, to me, what a difference! We even got a whole house purifier and humidifier to help keep our house clean and comfortable. If I have any future HVAC needs, I will be calling Midwest!

Bob Epps was the only person to actually break out a tape measure to get accurate measure out of the any other company that bid my job. The service install crew was great and I will and have recommended this company to others! Price was a lot less than other companies. I even got a referral discount since a former customer recommended them!

AC went out during the heatwave, told me what it would cost to fix but highly recommended a new unit (the price to temp fix a 20 year unit was crazy in comparison to just getting a new unit). Had a salesperson out same day, looked at what I had and what was needed, and gave me a few options. All reasonably and competitively priced. Biggest + is that it was a no pressure purchase. Gave me a few days to think about it and talk it over, answered any questions and even offered some alternative solutions. Turnaround time was about a work week. Installation was a 1 day, painless process and the unit looks great! Highly recommend and they have a long time customer in me.

I needed a new HVAC system. I contacted 3 companies. I chose Midwest because from beginning to end they were PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS and KNOWLEDGEABLE. Tom was very through in explaining my options and did not try to sell me something I didn’t need. Upon making my decision they put me on the schedule quickly. The installers were Brian and Austin. They couldn’t have been better. I would recommend MIDWEST
