Had a friend have two engines taken off of a boat there and one of the engines was still in good working order. Came out there to get it one day and they couldn’t fit it in my truck. Asked for a couple more days to get it and found a flatbed truck to pick the engine up, but they had already given it away. Not sure how you give Peeples stuff away that you’ve never been given permission to get rid of. They now say they can’t get it back. It’s almost like stealing this place sucks so bad I would never trust these people

Service Department is awful. Took over 6 weeks for them to even look (not fix) the throttle cable with absolutely no communication. I had to physically come in to check the status. Gave up at that point. Brought my boat back to have the 300hr service done and the throttle cable replaced. "Yeah we'll get to that next week" They did not... Took another 6 weeks to have service done for almost double the industry standard price.

Troubleshot a failed alternator at the dock on my Merc 150 on St.John’s River in Welaka. Did some google research(for an hour) and called Marine Max. Talked to Darren, He was super helpful and went over and beyond to research and take the time to help me get the part I needed to get me going. Thank you D!!!!

When you spend the kind of money that is necessary to buy a brand new boat you expect everything to just work. Unfortunately when it comes to boats its just not that simple. Thankfully the service department at Marinemax Jacksonville is sympathetic to this phenomenon and goes above and beyond to make up for it. Morris and his team truly are top notch and Jacksonville is lucky to have them. Marcus, I can not thank you enough for consistent display of patience and resolve. You have single-handily made what should have been a miserable situation a fairly decent one. Your customer service is commendable and it would be wrong for me to not take this opportunity to recognize it. Edgar, thank you so much for making the trip to resolve my issue, it is greatly appreciated. I don't know what they are paying you guys but I am certain it isn't enough. Lastly, if you find yourself in the market for a boat you need to stop in and ask to speak to Grant. He will likely be out on a sea trial selling a boat but there is good reason for that. His service doesn't end with the sale, it really just begins. As a result he has managed to sell us 2 boats and will likely sell us another before he retires. 🙂

Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a purchase. Ryan Landaal was great, from the time I first stopped in to inquire about a new Boston Whaler until the day he waived me goodbye as I was pulling out of the parking lot with our new boat behind us. Nothing at all like going to buy a car thats for sure. No games, no tricks, no excuses, just honest answers that where followed up by actions. If your thinking about buying a boat either new or used, give MarineMax Jacksonville a try. Not only was the whole sitting down and finding exactly what we wanted a very easy experience, the finance department was fast and helpful as well. Then when our new boat was ready for us to take home, they had a captain on hand to go out on the sea trial and go through the entire boat to explain everything and show me how it works as well as some tips on what not do LoL. Even though this wasn't my first boat, it was my first brand new boat so having a captain there to show me all my new electronics, trolling motor and other options we added was a real help. I highly suggest this even if you've had plenty of other boats before. I couldn't be happier with my 2018 Boston Whaler 150 Montauk! I can guarantee if I ever am in the market for another boat, the first call I'll make is to Ryan and the folks at MarineMax Jacksonville. Also a big shout out to the guys in service for the great job they did mounting my new Minn Kota I-Pilot Trolling motor, they did a clean and classy job with everything from the battery to the custom piece they had to trim to make it look like it came from the factory like that. I feel confident taking my boat back to them for service or any installs in the future thats for sure. And of course lets not forget the detail guys that flushed the motor and washed the boat after the sea trial and placed it on the trailer. This is one big place that works together to make sure your happy you chose MarineMax Jacksonville! Thanks everyone, oh sorry, almost forgot to mention the very nice and helpful gals at the front desk too 😉 UPDATE~ 7-31-19 I needed some new parts that I tore up on my boat, I called in last friday to the parts department and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed, Placed the order last friday and today (wednesday) I already picked up my ordered part and installed it. No down boating time means a lot to me. Friendly, Patient, Knowledgeable, Affordable, not sure what else I could say about the folks in the parts department at Marinemax! I wouldn't consider calling anyone else when I need parts for my boat. Thanks guys.

I've bought 4 boats over the years from my local MarineMax and they have always gone above and beyond to take care of me. Grant and his team are always great to deal with. The service team there is great as well. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them.
