Max C. Smith did an excellent job replacing the AC and water heater in our unit. I contacted ~5 companies for estimates because our 26 year old AC was limping through its last season (and causing a leak in the ceiling). Max C. Smith was by far the most thorough and professional of the groups I contacted. It also happened that they had the best price, even with the inclusion of a new water heater, too. Joe was an awesome rep; he answered all of our questions and was super respectful during his initial visit to the unit. It never felt like he was upselling. Rodney and the other gentleman who did the installation took great care of our space and got us all set up with the new AC/water heater over a two day period. So far, so good - the water temperature and speed at which it heats up are a huge improvement, so I’m glad we opted to include the water heater, too. Thank you guys!

Great service! They were able to come on the same day and fixed the heat when I needed my heat back due to gas leak. Austin took the time to explain what was happening. Highly recommended!

I have had Max C. Smith and Company install a new water heater, furnace, and air conditioning unit including a humidifier.The work done was exceptional and the products are first class. I recently had one of their service employees come out to do a tune-up on everything (Austin). At the same time I had some type of water issue puddling out in front of the furnace. Austin troubleshot this issue and solved it in probably less than 5 minutes. So a special thank you goes out to Austin. They're a great company. I've used Max C. Smith for my annual maintenance on my furnace for a few years now. Extremely happy with their service. Recently they installed a mini-split in my sunroom that has helped me convert into an office space. It was a challenging install, but the team was very professional, got the job done, and I'm very happy with my new sunroom/office setup. Thanks!

Emergency fix including parts n labor was expedited and completed in < 24 hrs. For this we are grateful. Importantly, Max Smith also prioritized other members in the community who needed help too as the cold season descends. We mightily appreciate their professional and personal character.

I was able to schedule and get my Air-Conditioning fix the same day with MAX C. Smith Company. The technician was professional and polite and most importantly he was able to quickly diagnose and repair my Air-Conditioning system.

Extremely dissatisfied with this company's protocols. A call was placed for service and the AC repair was completed without ever speaking to myself or my husband. A service professional should always communicate with the homeowner before entering a residence. Entering a home without explicit permission, particularly when minors are present, is highly inappropriate. Furthermore, proper notification of entry is essential for safety and security. The sudden appearance of a service person can be unsettling and potentially dangerous. Issuing an invoice for work done without prior discussion is unacceptable business practice. I suggest Max C Smith address these issues promptly to ensure future interactions are respectful and compliant with industry standards. This case necessitates further investigation into the company's policies and procedures. While our HVAC system is fixed our trust in this company is broken.
