I had a great experience with Lumina. Kurt Bradshaw was incredibly helpful with making sure we got the right solar setup to meet our needs. He communicated clearly throughout the whole purchasing and setup process, answering any questions my wife or I had quickly and transparently. Everyone on the team kept things moving along at each step from permits to applications, ensuring a timely and smooth installation. The system has been performing as expected since the install, and I’m happy to know I’ve got a solid warranty with a reputable company behind it.

We’re very pleased with our Lumina solar installation. Our representative John Mein was incredibly helpful in working with us to learn and select the best configuration for our needs and budget, and gave us lots of informed choices. They use really high quality components and the pricing was competitive. The company managed all the lengthy processes that Dominion energy and the town and county permit offices require. The installation team was extremely professional and courteous - they seemed to enjoy the work they were doing and did a really clean and high quality job within the time they said it would take. The final result looks really good inside and out, and has no visible wiring or other unsightly features. Both the roofing team installing the racks and panels and the electrical team doing the wiring did great work. A contractor working in our attic later for an unrelated issue said it was one of the tidiest solar installs he’d seen. We received permission to operate a couple of months ago and the solar system is performing really well, as good or better than was forecasted in the pre-sales estimate for our property’s sun exposure. We’ll be able to offset almost all of our annual electrical use from the grid. A solar installation is a big, long-term, and costly decision. Working with Lumina made the process a good one. We’re happy with the results and expect 20+ years of performance. All in all, we’d highly recommend Lumina.

The process of purchasing and having solar panels installed by Lumina was a terrific experience, and I am very happy I chose Lumina Solar for the project. Ali did a great job managing the project from beginning to end, and Tyler led a professional team that installed our panels exactly as expected. We love our new solar panels! We got bids from 3 different companies and Lumina Solar presented us with the best option for our home. They had the best quality panels and the best presentation. They explained the whole process thoroughly so we knew exactly what to expect and how long everything would take. They continued to communicate with us through the whole process and, if we had a question or needed more info, they would email or call us within a day or sooner. When the installers came, they were very friendly and did a great job. After installation, they walked us through the whole system so we would know everything we would need to move forward. We contracted with a different solar company and had issues from the beginning. Terminated our contract and started shopping again. We were very impressed with Lumina. They handled the project from start to finish and kept us informed every step of the way. Very professional, friendly, great customer service. They alleviated a lot of the fears created by the previous solar company. From the beginning Courtney helped us through the process of getting started, what to expect, introductions to different team members such as Dan our project manager, Mike who was the supervisor of our installation team, Mary who coordinated efforts to get our system up and running. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. Great experience.

I have looked into many solar companies and after a friend referred me to Lumina, I was sold. Courtney S worked so patiently with me throughout the whole process from start to finish.
