American Solar & Roofing

The experience with American Solar and Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. The initial consultatiion was just that instead of a sales pitch. I had with Sean an information sharing session with someone knowledgeable in the field, not just someone who was trying to fit me in a box to collect a commission. Jose, my PM, was phenomenal. Clear communication followed up by delivery is what you can expect out of him. There were a couple of minor issues encountered, but Jose was quick to respond and remediate each. All in all I definitely recommend this team.

Peggy and I recently had a roofing repair done by American Solar and Roofing and took the opportunity to upgrade the Solar at the same time. As with our past experience with this company, about 20 years ago, the experience was beyond our best hopes! The planning, coordination, and personnel, were professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. The roofing crew, under Ben Farr and the Solar crew, under Jose Leon, completed their task on time and on schedule, going the extra mile, with zero disruption to our day to day lives! American Solar and Roofing came out and installed 12 solar panels on our roof. Miguel and Orlin were the installers and did a FanTasTic job providing that I had stone coated steel shingles on my roof which made it more challenging but not impossible. We were working with 3 entities, SRP, City of Tempe, and American Solar. It took some time to get it all done but they did work together and accomplished getting the solar working as it should. Jose did a FanTasTic job as the project manager. He went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done in a timely manner. As of right now my solar panels are working at 100% and providing a good amount of electricity to make my bill much less. Mary Anne also did a FanTasTic job with the billing and helped by providing updated information on the installation. App has been downloaded so we can see everything happening in real time. Both the green light and the blue light are on so we're up and running at full capacity.

We had an installation upgrade to our inverter that was dying. Our service technician, Raleigh did a great job on the work preformed. On time, neat, tidy and very helpful with getting us setup online. Would recommend this vendor in the future!

After years of trying to receive service from American Solar with no response, I was extremely surprised to have received a service call from you. What took place was a 180 degree turn from your previous atrocious service performance. An inspection was done and it was determined that some parts replacement were needed. Yesterday, the maintenance was done. I want to tell you that the person, Jesse C. Was great!!! He worked in the blazing sun for approximately 10 hours without any complaints or issues. He was professional, diligent, and courteous. Thank you for sending him, and you should be proud to have such a person working for the company. With his great service, all the previous bad responses for the past four years is now forgotten.

American Solar did an outstanding job all the way around. They quickly identified the problem we were having with our solar and gave us a recommendation and obtained the required equipment quickly (this insured we didn't have to pay a tariff price). The promised installation was on time with a very courteous and efficient technician. He quickly completed his installation and cleaned the area he worked. He also explained what he was doing and how we could better monitor our solar equipment. We wholeheartedly recommend American Solar & Roofing for your needs.

American solar is the best when you are doing an install. Jose is the planner that worked with me from start to finish. Anne Marie works The office and made sure all the permits were up to par plus the permits for Goodyear. This company stands by their work and product. Jose is incredible. If you are considering solar… speak with American solar first. You will not be disappointed. They are sooo much better than Argent. They are customer service oriented, they are focused on the customer and the best outcome. Please ask for the planner Jose and Anne Marie.
