Cooper Climate Control

Cooper Climate Control (CCC) replaced my 17 year old Trane heat pump with an 18 seer Tru Comfort heat pump. Kendall from CCC came out multiple times to make sure I understood the scope and deliverables of the project. CCC not only replace the heat pump but also added a new return to improve the air flow and added a new filter at the air handling unit. They also added a surge protector on the disconnect box. I could go on but I will close by saying that the price quoted for the job was considerably lower than the others. After the project was complete, Kendall came out one more time to inspect the work and to make sure I knew how to submit the paperwork for the warranties from Trane and rebates from SRP. Really impressed with their team and plan to use them again when I replace my other unit.

Kendall and his team were great! Kendall’s quote for a new system gave us options that we could discuss and make our decision feeling that we had all the information we needed. His crew that did the install were prompt, polite, and clean! Very seldom does any repair or installer leave my house the way I want it…but they did! They laid tarps in the stairs, and vacuumed after. Alex explained the system with patience to be sure we are understood everything and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Kendall and will be using them in the future for yearly maintenance and any repairs.

Replacing an HVAC system is no joke. It's a major expense that most people don't plan for, and in Arizona, it’s a necessity—especially when you underestimate how hot the summers get and how chilly those fall and winter months can be. So, when my 25-year-old unit finally decided to call it quits and head off to HVAC Heaven, I knew I had to bite the bullet (no pun intended) and get a new packaged heat pump. I called in 12 to 15 different companies from across the metro, most of whom were friendly and professional. But there was one that stood out, and no, it wasn’t because they were the cheapest. The job took about 6-7 hours, and Kendall kept me updated on the progress throughout. Since he’s been in the business so long, he has his own crew who did the work from start to finish. They were professional, courteous, and took great care of my home—there wasn’t a single crumb of dirt or a trace of a footprint left behind. They even sent me detailed pictures, not only of the roof but also of what was going on in my attic (since I don’t usually hang out up there). Kendall’s customer service was top-notch—five stars all the way. He made a stressful situation feel as calm and peaceful as possible, and I’m incredibly grateful I hired him for my HVAC replacement. If I ever need help again, whether it's for another HVAC issue or I buy a new house, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Kendall. He truly made one of the most daunting parts of home-ownership feel like a walk in the park.

Cooper Climate Control has been our go to company for HVAC since we moved into our home 10 years ago. This year one of our AC units (almost 20 years old) finally bit the dust, so we got a hold of Kendall right away. He was quick to respond and get started on evaluations and estimates for us. He answered all our questions promptly and explained all our options thoroughly. He explained the entire process and showed us pictures of the situation in the attic before and again afterwards. Kendall and his team did an outstanding job. They were on time and finished the job in two days: new AC, duct system removal and new system installation for better airflow, and new insulation. Research the difference between single stage, multi stage, and variable heat pump systems. *Research insulation and how duct systems work. This will help understand the project scope and why it makes sense comfort and money wise to upgrade or to not upgrade. It really depends on your home. Some companies like SRP give rebates so that can help. *Some companies are very high pressure. This is a large purchase; please feel comfortable taking your time and if it's overwhelming just pause and revisit project later.
