Marriott's MountainSide

Mountain view’s and great resort amenities, near a highly visited area make for a great vacation. The units have everything you need to be self sufficient and relax. The pool area is large and has several hot tubs to enjoy. A trolley near by will take you to the town of Park City with many restaurant and entertainment choices. Nature is steps away here.

My husband and I had an exceptionally great experience at our second visit to this Marriott, especially due to the activity center and staff at The Mine. Demetri, Kylie, Molly, and Bryce are all such wonderful members that deserve recognition for their efforts in creating a fun and joyful atmosphere! We may have missed a couple of names, but everyone we interacted with was so kind and enthusiastic. While we enjoy exploring the mountains, we also love that this resort has many amenities for stay-in days and activities for kiddos and adults. I’ve yet to find anywhere that beats the hot tubs especially! We’ll definitely be back again, hopefully for the wintertime!

The Perfect Ski-In/Ski-Out Spot for Families This resort is an absolute gem! You simply cannot beat the location—it is a true ski-in/ski-out experience right at the base of Park City Mountain. Getting on the PayDay lift literally took just a few steps from the heated pool deck area. The complimentary ski valet and storage made the entire process completely hassle-free. We stayed in a villa and loved having the extra space, the resort is just a short, easy walk to Main Street for dinner and shopping.

Mountainside is a great place to stay for a family. Or anyone. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for 5 of us--4 adults and one active 6 year old. Very comfortable. The pool and hot tubs are great. There are 5 hot tubs! "The Mine", the activity center has at least a couple of activities for children each day and there is a movie theater showing movies throughout the day. As our family flew in to meet us, it was only about a 35 minute drive to pick them up at Salt Lake City airport. Very convenient. There are plenty of hiking trails near the resort. You can walk into town or ride the bus. All very convenient!

Overall nice hotel - I have stayed here with my wife and children roughly a dozen times over the past 3-4 years. Unfortunately as of late staff has become increasingly unaccommodating, they’ve decided to start charging for parking, and check-out is at 10:00 am. 10:00 am. At a vacation club. Unfortunate to see the direction things are heading.

Very nice timeshare resort. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We didn’t expect housekeeping so it was a nice surprise to come back on day 2 to a made up room. Expect the invite to timeshare presentation, they offered 1 night free (we declined). Nice pool and hot tub, good access to ski lifts and summer activities. We had room in 2nd floor, no view. Room was not ready at stated check in time, that was a disappointment. We waited until 5pm for our room.

This was a slightly different location than I initially thought I booked (absolutely my own fault). That being said, it is a short drive to downtown - or walk if you don't have asthma like me. It also has very pretty views being located toward the top of the Mountainside. As a member of a family that owns Marriott timeshares, I wasn't completely impressed with the one bedroom apartment... Don't get me wrong, the room was wonderful BUT I did take some pictures of the dents, dings and stains within the room so as not to be blamed for them upon checkout. The room I had was definitely 'well loved' but in such a high volume winter sports area, I can't complain! (Plus, even though it was the off-season I wasn't in my room much.)
