Had to jump-start my truck to get to the shop. Was told they no longer install batteries. While I was in paying for the battery, it was installed for me. Was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Excellent service and price

04/14/2025 went today with a dead battery in my car. Was informed they no longer replace the battery but I could take one with me in my car that I had to jump start to get there. Was offered a jump to restart my car. Their whole business model is taking out your old battery, charging a core fee and selling you a new one, after which your old battery goes to be recycled instead of being thrown out by your shed in the back yard. I finally begged some tools to do it myself which was difficult since I’m blind in one eye (which I pointed out and still no assistance was offered) and their shop has no light. This was humiliating and a disappointing experience since I have been coming here for nearly a decade. 5 stars is only so my experience won’t be buried in the bad review pile. I would gladly pay an install fee to support a local business but will be going elsewhere in the future.

By far the best place to get a battery in Knoxville. Best price around believe me I’ve shopped them all and also nice knowledgeable people.

Love this place!! Bought a battery two years ago WAYYYY cheaper than anywhere else. They took quick great care of me. Just went in today with a dead battery it was to my surprise covered by warranty. In and out again saving me loads of money.

These guys are great. I put batteries in my powerstroke a few years ago and they’re going strong, I just bought another to put in a BMW. They had the batteries installed in the powerstroke before the credit card was done processing. Not to mention, their pricing is great. I’m not going to share exact pricing because I know prices change over time, but their prices are among the best in the area. Edit: two months after my initial review one of the 3yr old batteries in the powerstroke gave out. The 6.0 powerstrokes (maybe all?) diesels are HARD on batteries, and they covered it under the warranty no problem. Had it swapped and running in 15 minutes.

We purchase all our batteries at Battery Service for our business at Apex Knox Auto. Good quality batteries never had any problem.
