We had a tire blow out on our travel trailer driving through Knoxville. Went to 1 RV place and they don't work on tires (what?!) and then started calling around looking for someone who did. 2 other RV shops recommended us to Interstate. I was hesitant at first due to some other reviews, but Jack did a great job replacing the tire with one he had in stock, diagnosed the issue (valve stems weren't rated for that level tire pressure), gave me some advice on how to repair the roof, and had us back on the road real quick.

Please BEWARE of these scam artist!! I called for help with a tire on a boat trailer coming thru Knoxville Tennessee. They came out, told me the issue of how my axel was bad and needed to be replaced. I stated please tow to your shop and call me with just a quote. If you take a look, they tried to charge me 1800-3500+ for this simple work. I never authorized any work to be done to my boat and they state they had to work on the boat to get me a quote and now are trying to charge me. He also stated I can only pay cash app or Venmo which is fishy because this is a business and a true establishment right ? Now I’m fighting to get possession of my boat. They state if I don’t pay two diag fees $245 a pop plus the 400 tow I can not get my boat out. I stated only authorized a diag fee and a tow. $245 plus $400 and he hung up in my face and is now withholding my boat from me. Please beware of these old time scammers who screw people for a living.

They were Excellent.Re routed a truck to come help us when they heard we were stranded for 22 hours. Looked at all the tires and found another 1 with a broken belt. Thank you Jack!!!!

Interstate came out to work on the camper but after three hours they said they didn’t know what was wrong. They charged us over $750.00 for three hours work and said they would return later in the week and at least get us cranked do we could get home. We called them several times to find out when they would return but they never returned our calls nor came back. Had to have it towed to Shannons twisted Garage. Shannons got it cranked and found some things wrong and repaired it. They worked on it for several days to locate the problem and charged less money for more time. Kudos to Shannon’s

We were visiting the Veterans Cemetery close by & our check engine light came on. We drove a few miles to the shop & the owner Jack is very informative & scanned the RV & advised us he would order the parts & get us back on the road the following day. He literally took us to the hotel & recommended the Restaurant next door which was great. We were back on the road midday. Thank you for making our mishap a pleasant one!

Whew, yikes. They overcharged towing my RV by 2 hours. I called them the next day (today) and just got off the phone. I was originally quoted a price of $185 per hour, and I was ok with that. It took them almost exactly 3 hours to get my RV and bring it to my house and unloaded, even after airing up a flat tire (they told me after this happened, I wasn't aware it was flat). I have timestamps in my phone from them calling me when they were getting ready to pick it up and then when they got close to my house. They charged me for 5 hours. So I called, thinking we could easily work out the misunderstanding, but they got really hostile and nasty almost immediately. They said I had to pay to get their wrecker back to their business, which I didn't know at all. And originally I thought maybe that was a common thing and I didn't know, but my husband had been listening when I hired them and he told me they clearly said from pickup until disconnect. And even still, if I paid them to get back to Knoxville, I was still overcharged by an hour. And at $185 per hour that is a chunk. So over the course of the 23 minute phone call I was cussed at, insulted, and talked down to. Finally I had to just tell them that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. It's ridiculous. I highly, highly recommend you go to another towing service if you can. These people are crooks and I wish I had called anyone else.

When you call them they do their best to send someone out. That is appreciated, but the appreciation ends there. The fellows were nice. I had an electrical short in my motorhome which rendered it unsafe to drive. They installed the multifunction turn signal stalk and the problem persisted. They would not continue to look for the short and left me with a bill of over $500. Shannon’s Twisted Metal Garage happened to be in the campground and agreed to take a look. In less than 30 minutes the problem was diagnosed and fixed. I can now go home safely. Save time, money and aggravation and wait for Shannon
