Called Northgate about an issue with an air handler. These folks went above and beyond. Everyone I spoke with was extremely courteous and professional- a rarity these days. Additionally they scheduled a next day appointment and resolved the issue (which included a major parts replacement) in less than two hours. When I asked the technician (Brian) about another concern with my system (that I had not spoken with anyone else about) he answered my questions completely and offered a solution. He even had the parts on his truck to upgrade the outside unit and It completely resolved the issue. Can’t thank him enough! Also I appreciate you being respectful of my gravel driveway (it’s steep) when coming and going. 5 stars today guys and office ladies! I appreciate you!

Called a week ago because the outdoor condensing unit they installed in 2017 has a leak on the condensing coil. I was told they no longer sell that brand, and they weren’t sure how to handle the warranty. Knoxville office had me contact the Chattanooga office where I thought I was getting somewhere, but was told I would get a call back on Monday. Get the call on Monday and it is the same answer as the Knoxville office. They just sent me through another supply house hoping they would have it, but I was going to have to pay a warranty processing fee since this place did not install the unit. So, here I am a week later I have contacted 10 supply houses from Tennessee to Ohio, which all told me the part was not in stock and could take months to get. The kicker is that heat pumps are supposed to be installed off the ground a minimum of 3" per Tennessee M1403.2 (which it is not, it is sitting right on the slab). So, if Northgate would have installed the unit correctly in the first place then I probably wouldn’t be in this situation. I have worked in the HVAC field for many years, and I know if supply houses cannot get a warrantied condensing coil for you they will just give you a new condensing unit.

Vary friendly and know what they are talking about went beyond what they needed to do if u live in a mobile home and need part this is where u need to go

Very quick and knowledgeable about my units warranty. The lady that helped me was able to look my system up in under 30 seconds and said I had 10 year part warranty and explained that labour wasn't included. I'm ok with that. Very honest and trustworthy company. She could have easily said nope, nothing.

Our AC decided to quit the other week when it was so hot. Since we live in a manufactured home, we called Northgate about repairing it. It was going to be several days before they could get to us to repair it, but we went ahead and made an appointment. The morning they were supposed to come the Tech called us. They were at our home within 15 minutes. They were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The techs (Jason and Billy) knew what they were doing and went right to work. They answered all Steve's questions, and did not get annoyed with us. Our air is working great now. If you live in a manufactured home, you need to call this company for any help. From the young lady we spoke to first, all the way to the techs, they are friendly and ready to help. We have a cool home again!

We had our heat pump and evaporator coil installed this past friday. The crew they sent were extremely professional and courteous and explained everything in detail. The builder installed the wrong thermostat but no worries they had the correct one on their truck. We didnt have power yet so they used the power inverter on their truck to get power and pulled a vacuum on the copper lineset. They ran the lines and the drainline so that the block mason could easily work around it. We are extremely satisfied with the end result and highly recommend this company.
