Petro Travel Center

This used to be a premier truck stop in days gone by. It had decent food for a reasonable price. It was clean and always well kept. Inside there were places to just sit and wait for laundry or just talk to fellow drivers. You could watch a movie or play cards. There was a dog park in the back that had a bench. It was clean and safe. Now? The buffet is gone. Gone are the places to sit and have a chat. The only place to sit are in the restraunt. Good luck finding a meal for under $20. A simple bowl of oatmeal is $9. The laundry room is outrageously priced and the movie room is closed. The dog park no longer has a bench, the gate is falling off and is tough to get to as it's blocked 24/7 by dropped Amazon trailors. Petro went broke and BP bought them out. Instead of going back to a time when they respected drivers, it's gotten so much worse. Now, it's just a place to park, get rid of garbage and roll down the road.

Sometimes.......when the groups are small, the commotion is low, things are slowing and others are engaged in their personal activities......YOU just know. You are made aware that professional(s), behind the scenes and out in the open, are working hard to make others comfortable, held accountable and not against making a day better even when they are not in the best of moods. This location needs no introduction.

One of the first two things you need to do is Extend the length of time a loyalty members ultra one credits last meaning more than one week more like atleast 3 weeks ultra one credits should last then you might knock it out the park for starters. Next the general bathroom stalls are terrible and need to be remodeled immediately due to the conditions of the walls of the stalls and the lack of privacy from the giant gaps between the doors and the walls of the structure alongside flimsy locks. The millions of gallons of diesel purchased daily will facilitate these projects with ease Feedback from a concerned member and patron.!!!!! This review applies to basically all TA’s and Petro locations.!!!!!

Food here is very bland, no flavor. The showers are shit. Can't even open the damn door cause the tiolet and the shower wall are in the way. Cheap labor is not skilled. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Does has hot water and the water pressure is nice.

The bathrooms and coffee station were not clean, which made the stop uncomfortable. Basic cleanliness should be improved. On the positive side, the staff were polite, but overall the facilities need much better upkeep.

So I had a pleasant experience at this Petro. I do prefer them over Ta. I fuel and shower at loves usually but I needed to do a Pm and some other stuff and I don’t use loves for that anymore. Service was good. Checked in sat there was a wait so I told them what I needed and scheduled it for the next day. Did a good job Sean was my mechanic I’d ask for him again. I had all the 150k mile filters and shocks for my truck. But they didn’t have the oil change filters. I called speed co down the block and purchased them and brought it to TA. They said why do that just change oil there. Lazy. But I like staying in my truck while they work on it only TA does that so I come here. Did everything quick Did my laundry was being used by 3 people but we went in each other way. Laundry gets a 4 some of the dryers had water on them weird. Showers small but lots of towels hot water good pressure. Clean. Iron skillet. The reviews on truckers path and google made me give them a chance again. Previously decided it was crap and would never use them again. The menu had new stuff burger and onion rings were really good service was also on point. Drinks full plates cleared check ready. Parking lot. It does lean like they said it would. I made sure I got an uphill spot I can’t sleep leaning forward. It does get full so if you have to stop here come as early as you can. CB shop. Got an amp and a tune up Expensive but I’ve needed this for months. So saving this in my favorites they also had a lot of door dash options. I’m didn’t get anything this time I spent to much at the mechanic and cb shop. There a pizza restaurant that looks really good not regular pizza

Okay, so the lot is very large and tons of room to get it parked very easily. Lots on a hill so plan on which way you want to fall of your bed lol. Store was beat and clean, service providers where in point with greeting abs friendliness. Showers where clean pressure of water was awesome. But….. there is visible mold in the shower, like tons of it. See photos attached. Other than. That this place is a nice spot to come chill abs rest!
