I already got done writing my reviews on Allegheny link, the place with no services and has no room in shelters for an autistic child, and their mom. Meaning me and my son having an emergency situation cause I'm staying in hotels paying a fortune and my check was delayed. So now this place that does absolutely nothing for people with special needs or any other struggling human being. They don't help where actual help is needed and they never have resources or funds for anything at this place. It's called action housing but there is no action whatsoever. So basically that's it, if they do help people, they must favor certain people and only help them out. But anyway again absolute garbage

I've only been here for four months and it's awful. There's been a leak in the roof outside my apartment door. I complained for 2 months before they put putty over the leaks. They never cleaned the carpet where the water dripped. So it stinks. The other day it rained and there's another leak. The carpet is all wet. The whole place is dirty inside and out.

Terrible. Weve been waiting for their help for 5 months. We signed all the papers, talked to a lot of people and they finally made a plan for our home. They said they will call us to let us know when theyll come and never did. When we called, they claimed they have no record of us. Only an application. How?! They took the whole gas line apart and only put 2 pieces back! We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 5. We needed them and they definitely failed us.

It's wonderful to read all of the good reviews of people receiving the help that they need. But that Is not the case with me. I called so i could have some sort of direction to help me with my current situation. I got the absolute worst customer service like they were upset that i called them. There are people going through the toughest time of their lives and just need help to get out of the situation. They were just so rude and did not help at all. And were quick to hang up the phone.

I don't know what I would do if I didn't get help from this program. I had to flee my abusive ex boyfriend and stayed in a women's shelter for 4 months. Well, during that time I reached out to Allegheny link and they referred me to Action Housing. My worker was Ryan and Mr. Shaun. They were extremely patient with going over what areas I was looking to live in, they took me to a few places to look at. They're actually the ones who got me into my apartment I'm living in now they emailed the property manager asking for vacancies. I was a late bloomer and signed my first lease at 25. They were patient and guided me step. BY step through the while lease and helped me call DLC and Columbia gas to start service. I'm so thankful that I had this program for some help.

First thing I will say is God bless every soul that is going through a rough time during this Pandemic. I’m a healthcare worker and did everything in my power to remain safe but I unfortunately got hit with the C19 monster in April AND DID NOT BOUNCE BACK SINCE!! I was stuck on the decision of getting the vaccine, so since I was dragging my feet, I was not awarded paid time off during my leave from work 3 weeks of NO MONEY so naturally I got behind. A friend told me about the rental program and I NEVER was awarded help so I wasn’t happy about it but I completed the application. When I tell you I had the pleasure of having Alaina Johnson as my case worker, she was my angel at that time and DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT. She spoke to me like a human, not as if I was getting on her nerves ( like most of these programs do) She answered my questions and ALWAYS got back to me in a timely manner, and most importantly she WANTED to help me and my children overcome this hardship in our lives. She did it with certainty and compassion. I highly recommend this particular program and pray you guys get Ms. Alaina or someone with her great work ethic! I would say she’s an asset to Action Housing.

I got behind in my rent. I went to action housing and they took care of me They were absolutely wonderful . God bless them
