My Man Clay is awesome! He went above and beyond helping me fix a used amp I purchased a while ago- very glad I got the warranty. It's kinda a rare amp. Clay helped me way more than he was required to- he made sure they serviced my amp (rather than give me store credit) and helped me get it to where it needed to be. Very grateful for his help!

As a traveler in the US I always love to stop by a Guitar Center to check on the latest gear and accessories as a musician or enthusiast. They got everything, don't even bother going to Sweet Water.

I normally have a great experience at this Guitar Center, especially when Sean is working. Sean is the reason I keep coming back — he’s knowledgeable, helpful, and always takes care of me with no hassle. However, today was a completely different experience. I came in to do what I’ve always done: a same-day rental. I’ve rented same-day many times without an issue, and I’m always aware that availability isn’t guaranteed — that’s fine. But the associate I spoke with today looked me in the eye and told me they "don’t do same-day rentals," as if it was never a thing. Instead of explaining or offering a solution, the vibe came off dismissive and almost annoyed that I was even asking. If the person who normally handles rentals isn’t in, just say that. A simple, "Hey, our rentals person isn’t here today, so we might not be able to do same-day rentals right now," would’ve gone a long way. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily pretentious and unwelcoming — especially to someone who rents here often. To make matters worse, I called another Guitar Center and guess what? They do offer same-day rentals. So now I’m driving farther out to get the same service I should’ve received here. This location can do better. Not everyone who walks in is a gear expert, and sometimes people need equipment last-minute. A little courtesy, consistency, and communication would go a long way. Again, shoutout to Sean — when he’s there, the experience is 5 stars every time. But today reminded me that one person can make or break customer service.

It's a relatively large center with plenty of musical instruments and lessons

Barrett was absolutely amazing. We had an issue with an online order and came into the store to see what our options were. By far and away the best customer service experience I've had at any business. Barrett took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make things right, thank you so much!
