Had an extremely positive experience. They were running a boiler servicing deal so I gave them a chance. They were on time and very communicative by phone. A two person team arrived who were totally professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and answer all my questions. Did a good job of cleaning up after as well. I’ll use them again for sure. Only issue was they rescheduled twice due to other emergency calls coming up, but I cant blame them for that having needed one or two of those myself before. In both cases they let me know several hours ahead of time.

Be careful with the company. I have a 5-year old heat pump system that stopped making heat, and I called Akian based on the positive Google reviews. They are quick and scheduled the visit the same day which is great. However, after charging a $129 dispatch fee, Carlos said the refrigerant leverl is low and I was given an estimate of $1800plus. However the estimate is not for fixing the problem which is the find the leak and recharge the system. It is for diagnosis the system only. I know the service fees are high today but didn't expect this high. I have the same feeling stepping into a Porsche dealership to get my car serviced. I ended up hiring a good HVAC technician fixed the problem at a much lower price. So my advice is if you are loaded and don't care about price, go ahead use them, but for people who are struggling coping with inflation please shop around. Two stars for the quick response and clear communication.

Jackson came in to install our new heat pump, replacing one that we bought from someone else and never quite worked right. TJ came in the next couple of days to assist, and Chris came in on the last day to set up the electrical work and get our thermostats installed. All three gentlemen were great! Jackson in particular kept us apprised of the progress, and Chris made sure we knew what do to with the thermostat system. We are already more happy with this work than the previous one we had. Well done, Akian!

Carlos came out today to provide an estimate on a unique request I had with my HVAC system. First, he showed up when he said he was going to. I even got a picture from the office of the technician that was on route. When he arrived, he was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions. He gave me an estimate on the spot and even drew out on an IPad exactly how they were going to complete the job so we were all on the same page. If the final work is half as good as the estimate process, I found my new HVAC company.

Mike G did our fall annual inspection and maintenance for our HVAC system. We had Akian install it just a year prior, so we were not expecting any surprises. But Mike was able to give me some tips for maintenance throughout the year. I’ve had issues with other local companies speaking down to me as woman when they did service and maintenance and try to needlessly upsell me on fixes and services. I have absolutely never experienced that with Akian and their employees. I will continue to recommend them to everyone.

Vinny provided diagnostic, excellent service. I’d read the other positive reviews of Akin and am happy to add my own positive experience. The team who took the call were helpful fitting me for an urgent repair and Vinnie arrived the next morning and did a fantastic job including communicating everything that needed to happen.
