Menards

When I went in the store I was immediately greeted by a pleasant young woman who asked what I was shopping for. I told her and she directed me to the exact aisle. I was able to shop quickly as a result. The you man who rang me out was friendly and pleasant. While loading my car I dropped my wallet. A few hours later I realized didn't have my wallet and couldn't find it. I went back to Menards and an employee found it in the parking and.turned it into the customer service desk!! I am grateful for the honest employee, and the other employees who helped me while shopping!!

Dennis was a phenomenal salesman in the Flooring Department. He was patient, knowledgeable and kind. His calm demeanor helped me to select a product I am pleased with. He went above and beyond to assist and make sure I got what I wanted. It was a pleasure to have him assist me with my flooring needs. I would recommend him for upper management. Why? It is extremely difficult to find people who provide excellent customer service. I will recommend Dennis to others. Thank Dennis you are appreciated. Keep taking care of customers!!!!

A wonderful location with many hardworking and caring people working there. Heath in management is always running around helping everyone everywhere and smiling the whole time. Linda, Jake, and Nick in building materials are extremely friendly and helpful. Lari in wall coverings might be the friendliest guy you'll ever meet with an infectious smile and an awesome sense of humor. I could go on and on about what a friendly and hardworking team runs this store.

This location is great! Unless you're a woman asking a male associate what's needed for a project. Not only do they start immediately talking to your husband while ignoring you, they'll also NOT suggest what's needed for the project and just show your husband the instruction manual on the website. I can (and did already) do that myself. So, if you're feminine, do ALL YOUR OWN RESEARCH. The associate will probably be too flabbergasted at your audacity to wear pants and have voting rights to form a complete thought.

First off, Shawn in lighting was helpful and directed me to a number of products I was looking for!I really appreciated his help. I spoke to 5 other employees who were not helpful in locating items. I had 3 items I was still looking for, but got non-committal answers and no actual assistance in locating the items. These items showed as in stock, but no further effort to locate the products was given. This was disappointing as there were not many clients, and several associates at answer centers chatting and checking phones. I work retail as well so I try to give grace, but from the standpoint of a leader, I would expect my associates to do more to help in the moment.

Great selection of items that won't find at the other big box stores.

I hadn't been to a Mernards before and I probably won't go back, it was really hard to pull together everything that I needed for one project. Half the staff was nice, the other half was impatient and rude but all of us were lost and had no idea where I was supposed to be to pick up things I'd already bought. I had to carry one item to my car from checkout then I had to drive around back to the lumberyard for more items before doubling back through to the other side of the building on foot for my plywood. It just sucked that I was sent back and forth just for some of them to treat me like it was my fault.
